[InMon] Reading Faces

The lack of posts for the past week can be attributed to the great and awesome church camp that I was in for the past few days. In that camp, I literally met God. You know when you go to church and there’s altar calls and the pastor prays and some people fall under the power of God, I really want to know how that is like. And I did fall. It was the most awesome experience and it felt so peaceful and lots of vibration, like massage chair kind of feeling. Plus, I heard God’s voice.

Here’s a little story recounting one of the events in the camp!

———

In the ballroom, echoes can be heard very audibly because the acoustics of the ballroom is simply horrible. But none of the four hundred youths seemed to care. All were focused on scribbling as much as they can on that small piece of paper within that short period of time. No one was talking and no one was looking around. Their heads were bent, legs crossed and were in intense concentration.

They were reading faces. Just a few minutes ago, they prayed in unison. Some spoke in tongues, some in english, others in broken english, chinese, or any other language they knew. They asked God for something to bless the face of the first person they saw as soon as they opened their eyes. In faith, they clicked their pens and started scribbling whatever they thought God was speaking to them about the person. None of them knew if they were writing prophetically or with their mind but they reserved all doubts for later.

After the pastor announced “Stop!” They clicked their pens once more and folded the already tiny paper into half. Then, they stood up and searched for the paper’s true recipient. They gave the papers to each other in sincerity, saying “Thank you and sorry”, just in case they weren’t reading the right things – like saying the person has a sister when the sister passed away or something.

Upon the pastor’s instruction, they held their breaths as they opened the papers. At that moment, some began to break down and cry while reading the revelation. Some laughed. Some just stared into space. Out of curiosity, they asked each other about the letter they wrote. Half the youths jumped in joy as they discovered they managed to hear God’s voice correctly, the others looked to the floor in disappointment as they realised they have been pretty much off.

But, the pastor said, it doesn’t matter. Because all that matters is that they stepped out in faith.
